Stella !

A letter from Stella!

I have been told that I am the most charming girl who will flirt with big boys and can track down a kibble in 30 seconds flat!  Because I am a very large girl who is selective in her choice of companions I prefer to live with a large male dog or none at all.

I am currently accepting applications for a new family and the ideal candidate will have the following skills and abilities;

*    Owns a nice big yard with a secure fence
*    Interested in keeping my mind active
*    Likes to be active, go to the beach and the park
*    Has a ton of love to share
*    Able to demonstrate strong leadership skills
*    Willing to continue with my obedience classes
*    Can accept me and understand me for who I am

If you think you have the above noted qualifications please send your application to Big Heart Rescue, c/o Gail at spiritsmission@shaw.ca

Once all applications have been reviewed those who have a match my desires in a new family will be contacted and interviews will be scheduled.

I look forward to hearing from you,
Stella

Update: June

Our darling Stella will be going to a foster home this week. Stella had met a "boyfriend" at the Coquitlam shelter, a large rottweiller.  Both very large dogs, they enjoyed playing together, (see Stella's video!). Then a police officer adopted Stella's friend, and seeing Stella, just fell in love with her too. So finally, after 15 months of looking for a home, Stella has her chance!  Everyone is keeping their fingers crossed that after so long in the shelter, Stella will be able to adjust to the new home setting. She'll have her Rotti friend as company which should make the move easier.

Update: August

Yahoooo.... Stella has been adopted into her foster home!
